포환던지기, 원반던지기, 창던지기, 해머던지기가 있다.

-포환던지기(Shot Put): 지름 2.135m의 서클 안에서 철구를 던지는 경기. 포환의 무게는 남자 7.26kg/여자 4kg. 던지기 종목 중에 가장 무게가 무겁고 기록도 가장 안 나온다. 남자 세계기록은 미국의 라이언 크라우저가 2023년에 세운 23.56m이고, 여자 세계기록은 소련의 나탈리야 리솝스카야가 1987년에 세운 22.63m이다.

-원반던지기(Discus): 지름 2.5m의 서클 안에서 원반을 던지는 경기. 던질 때 원반에 회전력을 주어 멀리 나가게 한다. 원반의 무게는 남자 2kg에 여자 1kg, 지름은 남자 22cm에 여자 18cm이다. 무게 차이가 가장 커서 던지기 종목, 모든 육상 종목을 통틀어 세계기록이 여자(76.80m)가 남자(74.35m)를 앞서는 유일한 종목이다. 원반을 실수로 놓치거나 잘못된 각도로 던져서 다른 곳으로 날아가지 못하도록 경기장 각도 외에는 그물을 설치한다.

-창던지기(Javelin): 창을 던지는 경기. 기록이 가장 잘 나온다. 창의 무게는 남자 800g 여자 600g. 남자 세계기록은 체코의 얀 젤레즈니가 1996년에 세운 98.48m이고, 여자 세계기록은 체코의 바르보라 슈포타코바가 2008년에 세운 72.28m이다.

-해머던지기(Hammer): 원반던지기와 같은 규격의 서클에서 던진다. 철구와 손잡이, 그 사이를 잇는 철사로 구성된 해머를 던지는 경기. 빙빙 돌면서 원심력을 이용해 던지며, 원반던지기와 마찬가지로 경기장 각도 외에는 그물을 설치하여 해머를 놓치거나 잘못된 각도로 던진다고 해도 다른 곳으로 날아가지 않게 한다. 해머의 무게는 남자 7.257kg/여자 4kg. 아시아에서는 2004년 아테네 올림픽 때 일본의 무로후시 코지 선수가 금메달을 땄다. 남자 세계기록은 소련의 유리 세디흐가 1986년에 세운 86.74m이고, 여자 세계기록은 폴란드의 아니타 브워르다치크가 2016년에 세운 82.98m이다. 패럴림픽에서는 해머던지기 대신 곤봉(Club)던지기를 실시한다.

 

 

 

 

There are shot put, discus throw, javelin throw, and hammer throw.

-Shot Put: an event in which to throw steel balls in a 2.135-m diameter circle. The shot put weighs 7.26kg for men and 4kg for women. It is the heaviest among the throwing events and the least recorded. The men's world record is 23.56m, set by Ryan Krauser of the United States in 2023, and the women's world record is 22.63m, set by Natalya Lisowskaya of the Soviet Union in 1987.

-Discus: A race in which a player throws a discus in a circle with a diameter of 2.5 meters. The weight of the discus is 2 kilograms for men and 1 kilogram for women, 22 centimeters for men and 18 centimeters for women. The weight difference is the largest in both throwing and track and field events, and the world record is the only event in which women (76.80 meters) lead men (74.35 meters). To prevent the player from accidentally missing the discus or throwing it at the wrong angle, a net is installed outside the angle of the stadium.

-Javelin: a javelin throwing competition. The record comes out best. The weight of the javelin is 800 g for men and 600 g for women. The men's world record is 98.48 m, set in 1996 by Jan Zellezny of the Czech Republic, and the women's world record is 72.28 m, set in 2008 by Barbora Spotakova of the Czech Republic.

-Hammer: Throw in a circle of the same size as discus throw. The competition is to throw a hammer consisting of steel gear, handle, and wire in between. The hammer is thrown in a circle using centrifugal force while spinning, and like discus throwing, a net is installed outside the angle of the pitch to prevent the hammer from being missed or thrown at the wrong angle from being blown away. The hammer weighs 7.257kg for men and 4kg for women. In Asia, Koji Murofushi of Japan won the gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics. The men's world record is 86.74m, set by Yuri Sedich of the Soviet Union in 1986, and the women's world record is 82.98m, set by Anita Bwerdaczyk of Poland in 2016. Instead of throwing a hammer, the Paralympics features club throwing.
