현대모비스, 엠브레인, CES, Hyundai

 

현대모비스는 여기서 더 나아가 운전자 뇌파를 분석해 운전 집중 상태를 파악하는 '엠브레인' 기술까지 공개했다.

AI를 활용해 운전자 안전을 확보하는 기술을 실용화 직전 단계까지 발전시킨 것이다.

현대차그룹에서 유일하게 CES에 전시관을 마련한 현대모비스는 라스베이거스 컨벤션 센터(LVCC) 노스홀(북관) 전시관에서 엠브레인을 선보였다.

 

엠브레인은 귀에 착용하는 뇌파 측정 기기를 활용했다. 운전에 집중하지 못한다고 판단하면, 운전자에게 즉각 알림 메시지를 보낸다. 집중 정도에 따라 뇌파 측정기가 소리를 내거나 진동한다. 디스플레이를 통한 주의 환기도 가능하다.

소니 혼다 모빌리티는 LVCC 센트럴홀(중앙홀)에서 첨단 운전자 보조 시스템(ADSA)을 탑재한 아필라(AFEELA)1을 선보였다.

이 시스템은 카메라와 라이다, 초음파 등 40개 센서로 주행 환경을 감지하고 3D 모션 관리 시스템을 통해 모터, 브레이크, 서스펜션을 통합 제어한다. 인적 오류를 줄이고, 차가 운전자를 보조해 안전을 지키는 흐름이다.

소니 혼다 모빌리티는 2026년 이 차량을 고객에게 인도할 예정이다.

 

 

Hyundai Mobis further revealed its "Embrain" technology, which analyzes the driver's brain waves to determine the concentration of driving.

It has developed a technology that uses AI to secure driver safety to the stage just before practical use.

Hyundai Mobis, which is the only Hyundai Motor Group to have an exhibition hall at CES, presented its Embrain at the North Hall Exhibition Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).


Embrain used an electroencephalogram (EEG) measuring device worn on the ear. If you think you can't concentrate on driving, you send an immediate notification message to the driver. The electroencephalogram makes sound or vibrates depending on the degree of concentration. Attention can also be called through the display.

Sony Honda Mobility introduced AFELA1 with advanced driver assistance systems (ADSA) at LVCC Central Hall.

The system detects driving environment with 40 sensors including camera, lidar, and ultrasonic waves, and integrates control of motor, brake, and suspension through 3D motion management system. It reduces human error and keeps drivers safe by assisting them.

Sony Honda Mobility will deliver the vehicle to customers in 2026.
